Broken Arrow Ranch

Bringing horses and children together, fostering hope,
empowering futures, and building faith one child at a time.

The establishment and operation of Broken Arrow Ranch is for the purposes of:
  • Fostering hope in children and their families.
  • Enabling the growth of self esteem and confidence.
  • Developing skills and a work ethics by caring for horses.
  • Rehabilitation and rescue of horses.

Broken Arrow Ranch aims to offer mentorship, ranchstyle activities, healthy friendships and horse rehabilitation involvement, free of charge to children and youth in our community.

Riding lessons are a conduit towards this goal. Because of this, kids may take part in any number of activities during their session. The activities could include ranch chores, caring for rabbits, games, hikes, etc.

Though one of our goals is for kids to become safe riders who understand and care for horses, our main goal is not to produce 'accomplished riders'. If this is the parent's hope, we would recommend them scheduling their children for riding lessons at a traditional stable.
